Settling in Greenville

Sorry it has been so long since my last update. I can't think of any really good excuses so I will just use the standard, "We are busy." Things in Greenville are good. The weather is great but the locals think it is cold (what kind of wimps think that 60 is cold...Southern Softies).

Linds got a job at a local Starbucks (and surprisingly does not like it) I am working at the local Rib joint/blues bar Sticky Fingers(and surprisingly am loving it). No real word on Grad Schools yet. We are beginning a season of prayer for this...please keep praying for us.

Personally, I have really been wrestling with God and what it means to be called by Him. Nothing new there. Linds and I both just want to follow Jesus.

Keep Praying,

Love you all,

J + L

i think at this point in my life following Jesus has become easier. i think i have come to the point where i am not going to desert him. but when it comes to the call i struggle with that more. i wonder if i take another job, will that hinder my following Jesus.

i loved my time in greenville and sticky fingers is one of the best if not the best restaurant. which one are you at?

have you settled on a church? are you going to attend where her parents do?

i still cant believe you moved there after we left.

Yeah it is pretty crazy. We are attending Southside Community (ironic that it is north east of Greenville) and it is not to bad.

I am working at the downtown location. It is super busy in the summer but worth it (i made $200 in tips last night)

i remember hearing about that church. if you ever get the chance. go down to anderson and check out newspring. obviously a far drive but i think a very worthwhile church to check out.

You guys can get a few master's degrees and be "Steve and Cheri Horst - next generation."

Sorry about the coming hair loss. :)
